Job Description:

SA Ignite is seeking motivated self-starters who are hungry for a challenge to join our sales development representative (SDR) team and power net-new pipeline for our SaaS solutions. As an SDR at SA Ignite, you will have quota-carrying responsibility for generating qualified sales opportunities with health systems, hospitals, clinics, and large group practices through outbound prospecting. Your high energy and professional persistence will drive your success in sourcing and qualifying opportunities for the field sales team to close. Using a mix of cold calling, social media, email campaigns, and more, you will drive outbound prospecting activities into a set of assigned accounts and generate net-new sales pipeline each quarter. Successful SDRs will be comfortable proactively uncovering new opportunities and conducting high-level conversations with senior executives to create a superior prospect/customer experience.



  • Proactively prospect into targeted healthcare accounts to set appointments and advance the sales cycle
  • Learn SA Ignite’s market and solutions and be able to use the information to engage prospects
  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory
  • Develop and execute on cold calling, social media, and email campaign strategies to qualify potential customers as a match for our healthcare solutions
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing contacts through follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest
  • Partner with the field sales team to seamlessly pass opportunities
  • Meet weekly and monthly qualified opportunity goals to ensure company revenue objectives are met
  • Mentor new team members and help grow the organization


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Bachelor's degree - business management, finance, healthcare administration or marketing preferred
  •  hunter mentality in seeking out new business and strong persuasion skills
  • An understanding of, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other essential sales tools preferred
  • 1-2 years of direct sales, sales development, and/or sales operations experience preferred, but not required
  • Bonus points if you have healthcare and/or technology sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • An energetic, upbeat, persuasive, and tenacious personality with a team player mentality
