Jeff Galowich

Jeff is a proven healthcare technology executive and entrepreneur who was a co-founder, Board Member and Executive Vice President of Initiate Systems (acquired by IBM). Jeff was intimately involved in all phases of growing Initiate to become one of the leading Master Data Management software companies in the world. In the healthcare industry, Initiate was widely considered to be the leading provider of enterprise master patient index (EMPI) technology.

Jeff is also on the Board of The Cara Program, a local non-profit organization that provides life and career skills training and support, as well as placement services, to individuals affected by homelessness and poverty who are motivated to transform their lives and find a permanent job. Jeff assists Cara with forming and operating self-sustaining social enterprises that employ Cara students and graduates.

Jeff is a member of the Board of Directors of SA Ignite and also a registered CPA and attorney. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Illinois and a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles. Jeff previously practiced law at Greenberg, Glusker, Fields, Claman and Machtinger in Los Angeles and has also been President of Madison Realty Group, Inc. and Madison Group Holdings, Inc. in Chicago. Jeff is passionate about building an organization considered to be world class by customers, employees and investors alike.
